An administrator of the estate of a deceased patient is suing Southpoint Nursing & Rehabilitation Center LLC, Infinity Healthcare Management of Illinois LLC and four nurses for allegedly taking insufficient measures to prevent the patient from developing pressure ulcers that purportedly resulted in the patient undergoing a leg amputation.
