Woodridge Park District, child's mother accused of failing to prevent child from drowning

The father of a young girl is suing Woodridge Park District and Stefanie Hernandez, the child's mother, for allegedly not doing enough to prevent his daughter, then three-years-old, from entering a deep swimming pool and nearly drowning in 2015.
