A woman is suing over claims that she slipped and fell in a store.

Darlene Moore filed a lawsuit Oct. 29 in the Circuit Court of Cook County against Southtown Health Foods Inc., citing negligence.

The plaintiff alleges on Jan. 21, 2012, she sustained serious injuries when she slipped and fell on a wet floor while at the defendant's store at 2100 W. 95th St. in Chicago. Moore claims the defendant negligently operated the premises.

She is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is represented by Charles R. Culbertson of Rubin, Machado and Rosenblum LTD.
