A woman is suing the City of Chicago over a slip and fall incident.
Rosalba Hurtado filed a lawsuit Jan. 3 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the city, citing premises liability.
According to the complaint, Hurtado parked her car on South Albany Avenue on Jan. 3, 2013 and was walking to the curb when she slipped on ice that had formed from a leaking fire hydrant up the street and injured herself.
She is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by the attorneys at Santilli Law Group.
