Walmart sued after woman falls in parking lot

A woman is suing Wal-Mart Stores Inc. after she tripped and fell in the parking lot.

Annette Streeter filed a lawsuit Nov. 15 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the retail giant, citing negligence.

Streeter claims she was shopping at a Walmart store at 2500 W. 95th St. in Evergreen Park on July 15, 2012, when tripped and fell on her way out over a hole in the parking lot near a sewer grate.

She is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by attorney Bradley A. Skafish of Deutschman & Associates P.C.
