A man is suing a condo association over a trip and fall incident.
Roger Schmit filed a lawsuit Oct. 17 in the Cook County Circuit Court against La Salceda Del Norte Condominium Association, citing premises liability.
According to the complaint, Schmit was on the defendant's property at 2005 Valencia Drive in Northbrook on Oct. 26, 2011, when he tripped over a step while trying to exist the building.
Schmit claims the association did not properly warn him of the step and as a result, suffered injuries.
He is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented by attorney Frank W. Pirruccello.
