Wal-Mart Stores sued by woman who claims heavy box fell on her

A woman is suing over allegations she sustained injuries after a box fell on her at a Walmart store.

Angela Boneva filed a lawsuit Feb. 4 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Wal-Mart Stores Inc., citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Boneva was at the Walmart on West Golf Road in Niles on April 13 when a heavy box leaning against a column fell on top of her, causing injury. She claims Wal-Mart Stores failed to provide a safe premises or warn her of the dangerous condition.

Boneva is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Mark C. Murnane of O'Connor & Nakos Ltd.
