A man is suing over claims he was injured on a slippery floor at a Target.

Mark Waldick filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Target Corp., citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Waldick was at the Target at 313 E. Town Line Road in Vernon Hills, on Feb. 18, 2012, when he slipped and fell on liquid.

He claims the defendant failed to make a reasonable inspection of the floor, failed to notify the proper person to clean up the spill, created a dangerous condition and failed to warn.

Waldick is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by the Law Office of Marc D. Alberts P.C.
