Bohica Bar and Grill sued after a man is injured on premises

A man is suing over claims he was assaulted and battered by security personnel at a Chicago bar and grill.

Carlos Garcia filed a lawsuit Feb. 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Bohica Bar and Grill Inc., unknown security personnel, individually and as an agent of Bohica Bar and Grill Inc., Bohica Inc. and unknown security personnel, individually and as an agent of Bohica Inc., citing negligence and battery.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 28, 2012, Garcia was at Bohica Bar & Grill, 5518 S. Archer Ave., Chicago, when he was assaulted and battered by the defendants' security personnel. The defendants committed negligent acts, which caused the plaintiff's injuries, according to the complaint.

Garcia is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by the the Law Offices Of John A. Ranieri LLC.
