A man is suing over claims he sustained injuries after falling over a poorly maintained walkway on Laflin Street in Chicago.

Reginald Pointdujour filed a lawsuit on Feb. 11 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Circle Park, also known as UCA II LLC, Pacific Management Inc. and New Frontier Management Corp. and employees at all three companies, citing negligence.

Pointdujour claims he suffered injuries on Feb. 25, 2013, when he slipped and fell on the walkway in front of the stairs of the defendants' property at 1111 S. Laflin St. in Chicago.

According to the complaint, the walkway had an accumulation of ice on the ground that Pointdujour slipped on, causing him to fall and sustain injuries.

Pointdujour is seeking damages in excess of jurisdictional minimum and court costs. He is being represented in the case by attorneys at Cuda Law Office Ltd. in Chicago.
