A woman is suing over allegations a delivery man pushed a cart of products into her while she was a customer at Walgreens.
Sherri Miyagi filed a lawsuit Jan. 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Rodolfo Mayen, Dean Transportation Inc., Dean Foods Co. and DFC Transportation Co., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, the defendant was making a delivery to Walgreens at 6798 N. Lincoln Ave. in Lincolnwood on March 26, 2012 and was pushing a cart of products inside.
Miyagi claims she was shopping at the store at the same time and the defendant pushed the cart of products into her while she was standing, causing an injury.
She is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit and is being represented in the case by attorney Michael Silverman of Horwitz, Horwitz and Associates Ltd.
