A man is suing the City of Chicago, claiming he was injured after slipping on a pothole filled with ice.

According to the complaint, Popolow was injured on Feb. 10, when he slipped on a pothole filled with ice in the parking lane of North Stetson Drive. He claims the city failed to maintain the street and allowed uneven portions to become filled with snow and ice.

Popolow is seeking more than $50,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by attorney Colin H. Dunn of Clifford Law Offices P.C.
