Hob

A woman who went to an A$AP Rocky concert at the House of Blues in 2012 is suing over claims she was injured when a performer jumped off the stage and landed on her.

Tia Butts filed suit May 2 in the Cook County Circuit Court against HOB Chicago Inc., RSVP Gallery LLC, Live Nation Worldwide Inc., Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc., Been Trill, and Rakim Mayers, known as rapper A$AP Rocky.

Butts claims she attended the May 3, 2012 rap concert at the House of Blues, where one of the performers allegedly jumped of the stage and right into her, causing her to fall and sustain injuries that required her to go to the hospital.

The suit does not identify the performer who allegedly caused Butts' injuries. It accuses the defendants of failing to maintain a safe environment for patrons.

She is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented in the case by Chicago attorney Jonathan Schlack of Law Office of Jonathan Schlack P.C.
