Construction worker claims dog chased, bit him while on a job

A construction worker is suing the owners of a dog he alleges bit him while performing work on their Hazel Crest home.

Larry Childs filed a lawsuit May 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Douge and Claudine Barthelemy, citing premises liability.

According to the complaint, Childs was performing work at the Barthelemys' residence on Goldview Drive in Hazel Crest on Aug. 28, when their dog chased and bit him.

Childs is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney John W. Krutulis of Levin, Riback Law Group P.C.
