Woman alleges buckets fell on her at Home Depot

A Cook County woman is suing over claims she was injured when buckets fell on her while at a Home Depot in Chicago.

Lolita Marshall filed a lawsuit May 14 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Home Depot Inc. and Home Depot U.S.A. Inc., citing negligence.

According to the suit, Marshall  was at the defendant's store at 200 W. 87th St. in Chicago on May 15, 2012, when buckets fell on her and caused injuries.

She accuses Home Depot of failing to keep the property clear of dangerous conditions and properly maintaining the premises.

Marshall is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, as well as court costs, and is being represented in the case by Chicago attorneys at The Vrdolyak Law Group LLC.
