Customer accuses Walgreen's of negligence in parking lot fall

A woman is suing a drug store, alleging its negligence led to her falling in its suburban Cook County parking lot.

Sandra Pagan filed a lawsuit May 16 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Walgreen Co., and Bond Drug Company of Illinois LLC, citing negligence.

The lawsuit states Pagan was at the Walgreen’s at 4101 N. Harlem Ave. in Norridge on May 20, 2012, when she slipped and fell on a painted portion of the cement near the parking lot. She claims she has sustained injuries and will continue to suffer.

Pagan is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and is being represented by David Nemeroff of Nemeroff Law Offices Ltd.
