Man alleges injury after chair fell apart at Denny's

A man is suing a restaurant chain, claiming he was injured when a chair fell apart.

Roy Hill filed a lawsuit June 3 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Denny's Inc., citing negligence.

According to the complaint, when Hill sat in a chair at the Denny's on Armour Road in the Village of Bradley on June 16, 2012, the back of the chair fell off, causing him to sustain injuries.

Hill is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limits and is being represented in the case by attorney Melanie J. VanOverloop of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen Ltd.
