A woman is suing over claims she was injured at a Chicago fast food restaurant after being hit in the head by the handle of a mop.
Marilyn Eisenberg filed a lawsuit May 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court against McDonald's Restaurants of Illinois Inc., alleging premises liability.
According to the complaint, Eisenberg was in the McDonald's on North Lincoln Avenue in Chicago on May 24, 2012, when she was struck in the head by a mop or broom handle in the control of an employee.
Eisenberg is seeking damages in excess of the jurisdictional limit andis being represented in the case by attorney Michael J. Kedzie of Kedzie Law Offices P.C.
