The family of a pedestrian killed in car collision is suing the driver.
Wieslaw R. Zwijacz, as independent administrator of the Estate of Anna Zwijacz, filed a wrongful death lawsuit July 15 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Indalecio Delatorre.
According to the complaint, Anna was crossing Roberts Road near its intersection with 90th Street in Hickory Hills on Nov. 26, when she was struck by a vehicle operated by Delatorre. Zwijacz claims the incident caused injuries to Anna that led to her death later that day.
Zwijacz is seeking damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Ulick G. O'Sullivan of Vinkler McArdle Frost in Chicago.
