A woman is suing over claims she was injured on a Chicago sidewalk.
Lynn R. Fox filed a premises liability lawsuit July 28 in the Cook County Circuit Court against the City of Chicago.
According to the complaint, Fox was walking on the sidewalk on the south side of East Erie Street on July 29, 2013, when she tripped on a broken and crumbled section of sidewalk.
She accuses the city of failing to repair the sidewalk or warn the public of its dangerous condition.
Fox is seeking more than $50,000 in damages and is being represented in the case by attorney Brian T. Nash of Nash Law LLC in Chicago.
