A Cook County woman is suing over claims her infant son fell and sustained injuries after a daycare employee left him unattended.

Davian Foreman, individually and on behalf of her minor son, filed a lawsuit Sept. 2 in Cook County Circuit Court against Evanston/Skokie School District 65, doing business as District 65 Family Center Doorway to Learning Childcare Center.

According to the complaint, Foreman's infant son was enrolled at the defendant daycare center on Sept. 6, 2013, when an employee left him unsecured and unattended, allowing him to fall and sustain permanent injuries. The defendant daycare is accused of willful and wanton conduct.

Foreman is seeking  more than $30,000 in damages and is represented by Elliott H. Robbins of Robbins & Robbins in Chicago.

The case number is Cook County Circuit Court case 2014L009152.
