Lincoln Park sports bar hit with suit over alleged battery

A Cook County man is suing over claims he was injured when he was thrown to the ground at a Lincoln Park sports bar.

Anthony Tadin filed a lawsuit Sept. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court against Qountez Harrington and Chicago Octagon Club Inc., doing business as The Tin Lizzie.

According to the complaint, Tadin was at The Tin Lizzie on North Clark Street on Jan. 12, when Harrington grabbed and threw him to the ground, causing injuries. Tadin accuses Harringotn of battery and the owners of the bar of negligence.

Tadin is represented by Michael S. Shinsky and Erin R. Doyle of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
