Mother alleges Children's Urology Health Partners, doctor failed to diagnose son's kidney failure

A mother who claims her minor son was injured when his doctors failed to diagnose kidney failure.

Andrea Bove, as mother and next friend of her minor son, filed a lawsuit Oct. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court against Children's Urology Health Partners and Dr. L. Suzanne Flom.

According to the complaint, Bove's son was being treated by Flom and Children's Urology Health Partners on June 19, 2009. Bove claims the defendants failed to react timely to her son's abnormal ultrasound results, order a renal scan or diagnose his kidney failure.

Bove is represented by attorneys Michael S. Shinsky and Erin R. Doyle of Kralovec, Jambois and Schwartz in Chicago.
