The owners and a few of the tenants of a Roselle shopping center are facing a lawsuit from a man who alleges he slipped and fell on their property.

John Kulczyckyi filed suit Feb. 28, 2013 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Gem Exteriors Inc., Cross Creek Commons LLC, The Salvation Army and SR Elgin LLC.

According to the complaint, Kulczyckyi was on property owned, operated, maintained and controlled by the defendants at 825 E. Nerge Road in Roselle, specifically the sidewalk and entrance way, on Feb. 28, 2013, when he slipped on snow and ice.

He accuses the defendants of carelessly and negligently removing ice and snow, creating an unnatural accumulation that caused him to fall and sustain injuries. He further alleges they failed to properly inspect and maintain the premises and failed to warn patrons of the dangerous condition.

He is represented by Adam M. Gilbert of Sherwood Law Group in Chicago.
