A man is suing over claims he slipped on ice and snow at a Metra station.
Reginald McEastland filed a lawsuit Feb. 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against the City of Chicago and Northern Illinois Railroad Corp., doing business as Metra.
According to the complaint, McEastland was at the Metra station on 57th Street on Feb. 27, 2014, when he slipped and fell on an accumulation of ice and snow, causing injuries. He accuses the city and Metra of failing to properly remove the ice and snow from the premises and warn him of the danger.
McEastland is seeking damages and is represented by attorney Steve C. Armbruster of The Vrdolyak Law Group in Chicago.
