A man is suing a property management firm and some of its vendors over claims he slipped and fell on ice.

Williams Adom filed a lawsuit March 4 in Cook County Circuit Court against Scholle Chemical Corp., Scholle Corp., Scholle Packaging Inc., Centerpoint Venture II, Centerpoint Properties, Arroyo’s Tree Services Inc., and Tovar Snow Professionals Inc., all of Northlake.

According to the complaint, the defendants respectively owned, operated and managed real estate property at 200 W. North Ave. in Northlake on March 5, 2013, when Adom slipped and fell on the premises’ parking lot due to icy surface conditions as he arrived to  work with a security firm there.

Adom claims he sustained injuries in the fall and alleges the defendants were remiss in their duties to keep the lot safe from hazardous conditions by failing to remove snow and ice from the parking lot.

He seeks damages in excess of $50,000, plus attorney fees and costs, and is represented by attorney Daniel Kaiser of Kaiser Law in Bensenville.
