Woman sues Straybridge Suites over injuries caused by bed frame

A Cook County woman is suing the owners and managers of the Staybridge Suites in Lincolnshire for injuries she allegedly sustained after bumping into a jagged piece of metal bed frame.

According to a lawsuit filed March 11 in Cook County Circuit Court, Jennifer Johnson is suing Harp Oakbrook Terrace, also known as Staybridge Suites; Dellisart Lincolnshire, LLC; Intercontinental Hotels Group Resources, Inc.; Intercontinental Hotels Group Operating Corp.; Intercontinental Hotel Group Co.; Dellisart Lodging Hospitality Management Lincolnshire, LLC; and Dellisart Lodging Hospitality Management Glenview, Inc.

The suit claims that on June 27, 2013, Johnson was staying at Staybridge Suites at 100 Barclay Blvd., in Lincolnshire. While there, she was injured on a jagged piece of metal bed frame.

Johnson is seeking damages in excess of $150,000, plus costs.

The plaintiff is represented by the Law Office of Andrew S. Kryder LLC of Chicago.
