A woman is suing a health clinic chain, alleging injuries after slipping in the clinic parking lot.
Anabel Munoz filed a lawsuit July 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against Access Community Health Network.
According to the complaint, on July 30, 2013, Munoz was walking in the parking lot of Blue Island Medical Center, 13000 S. Maple, Blue Island, when she tripped over a "broken and uneven surface ... causing her to fall and be injured." The suit says the the defendant failed to repair a dangerous condition, maintain its premises in a defective condition, and letting the condition remain.
The plaintiff says she suffered personal and pecuniary injuries.
Munoz seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs. She is represented by attorney Benjamin B. Kelly of The Vrdolyak Law Group in Chicago.
