A man is suing over claims he was mistreated by a certain physician and an Illinois-based healthcare center.

Lawrence Natonski filed a lawsuit Aug. 10 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Tahir Rohail, M.D. in conjunction with Premier Internal Medicine Group, S.C., and LaGrange Skilled Nursing Facility LLC, doing business as the Grove of LaGrange Park, citing negligence.

According to the claim, Natonski suffered medical malpractice while in the care of Dr. Rohail and the aforementioned organizations when he was wrongfully treated Aug. 13, 2013, for a sacral wound that developed into decubitus ulcers, causing him permanent physical injury and past and future pain and suffering, which ultimately led to surgical intervention and reconstruction surgery to treat stage four sacral gluteal pressure ulcerations. Natonski claims that Rohail negligently and carelessly treated him, failed to adequately monitor the treatment and timely obtain surgical consultation.

Natonski is seeking in excess of the jurisdictional limit necessary, together with the costs of this action. He is represented Randall F. Peters of Randall F. Peters and Associates in Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015L008151.
