A woman is suing over claims that she was injured in the aisles of a Walmart store.

According to the claim, Hernandez was legally shopping at a Walmart store, located at 4626 W. Diversey in Chicago on June 15, 2014, when she slipped and fell on water present on the floor in the produce aisle, resulting in severe and permanent injuries both internally and externally as well as severe shock to her nervous system, causing her to expend large sums of money for medical care and treatment.

Hernandez is seeking damages of more than $30,000, plus the costs of this suit for Walmart’s negligence to not tend to a slippery floor upon which Hernandez fell and incurred injury, the claim states.

She is being represented by the Law Office of Daniel E. Goodman LLC, located in Rosemont.
