A patron is suing a bar owned by country singer Toby Keith for allegedly serving liquor that contributed to a fight in which he was injured.

Yousef Mansour filed a lawsuit Sept. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court, Law Division against Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill, Toby Keith Chicago, Boomtown Management LLC, CRGE Illinois LLC, Domenico Noia and Daniele Noia, citing violations of the Dram Shop Act.

According to the court filing, Yousef was a patron of the bar on Oct. 5, 2014, when Domenico Noia and Daniele Noia both allegedly struck him in the face, causing injuries, medical costs and pain and suffering. The suit states that the bar, which is located at 5441 Park Place in Rosemont, and its owners served alcohol that led to the fight.

Mansour is seeking damages of more than $50,000 from each defendant, plus litigation costs. Daniel M. Spector of the Chicago law firm of Goldberg Weisman Cairo is representing the plaintiff.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015-L-009933.
