CHICAGO – A man alleges he was injured after falling while assembling a steel frame on a construction site.
Manuel Nieves filed suit April 7 in Cook County Circuit Court against Wood Group Mustang, Gremp Steel Co., Turner Industrial Maintenance and PDV Midwest Refining LLC, alleging negligence and product liability.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he sustained serious injuries from his fall which occurred March 24, 2015. The plaintiff holds Wood Group Mustang, Gremp Steel Co., Turner Industrial Maintenance and PDV Midwest Refining LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to develop a safe way to assemble the steel platform frame.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an amount in excess of court's jurisdictional limits. He is represented by David C. Wise of Burke Wise Morrissey & Kaveny in Chicago.
