Widow blames motorist for husband's death

CHICAGO — An Illinois woman is suing a Chicago motorist, alleging her negligence caused the defendant to run over the plaintiff's husband.

Tiffany Parker as administrator of the estate of Blake Parker, filed a lawsuit May 20 in Cook County Circuit Court against Sarah Rahman of Chicago, alleging negligence in failing to properly control her vehicle.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 13, Blake Parker suffered fatal injuries when he was hit while standing outside his car by a vehicle driven by Rahman on Interstate Highway 90 near Hammond, Indiana. The plaintiff alleges Rahman failed to keep a proper lookout for pedestrians.

Tiffany Parker seeks judgment for compensatory damages. She is represented by attorney G. Grant Dixon of Dixon Law Office in La Grange.
