Woman alleges she sustained injuries after dental procedure

CHICAGO – A woman alleges she was injured because her dentist failed to properly perform a root canal.

Yvette Burnside filed a complaint on June 2 in Cook County Circuit Court against Darold Tucker, DDS alleging medical malpractice.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 23, 2014, she was advised by the defendant that she needed a root canal and went ahead with the procedure. After a few months, she alleges she started to experience severe headaches and pain. The plaintiff holds Tucker responsible because the defendant allegedly failed accurately perform a root canal on plaintiff as well as not providing post-treatment.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount exceeding the minimum jurisdictional limits of this court, plus court costs. She is represented by John B. Schwartz of John B. Schwartz & Associates in Chicago.
