CHICAGO – A man alleges he suffers from vision damage as a result of negligent medical treatment.
Elmo McKinney filed a complaint on June 6 in Cook County Circuit Court against A & G Eyecare Inc., doing business as Yorkville Eye Professionals; Ghazala Ali, O.D.; Ayaz Khan, O.D.; Dupage Medical Group LTD, doing business as Dupage Medical Group; and Saba Kadlec, M.D. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained permanent body injuries in the form of blindness, glaucoma and optic nerve damage in 2014. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly monitor the intraocular pressure on plaintiff's eyes.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $50,000. He is represented by Daniel A. Goldfaden of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
