CHICAGO — A man is suing Lowe's Home Centers LLC, alleging negligence and insufficient measurese taken to prevent injuries.

Dwayne L. Wilson filed a complaint on June 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against Lowe's Home Centers LLC, alleging that the store owner failed to keep the floor of its store dry and free from any hazards that could cause an injury.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 5, 2015, he sustained physical injuries as a result of falling due to an accumulation of liquid on the floor. The plaintiff holds Lowe's Home Centers LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to inspect its facility to make sure that unnatural accumulations of liquid would not form on the floor.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $50,000. He is represented by Craig J. Squillace of Clifford Law Offices in Chicago.
