CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased woman's estate has filed a suit against Glenshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre Ltd., a nursing care facility, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Joel Jacinto, as independent administrator for the estate of Mary Lou Jacinto, filed a complaint on June 21, in the Cook County Circuit Court against Glenshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, Ltd. alleging that the nursing care facility failed to provide proper care to Mary Lou Jacinto while she was staying at their facility.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, between November 2013 and January 2014, Mary Lou Jacinto experienced several medical conditions including skin breakdown and sepsis. The plaintiff holds Glenshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, Ltd. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly evaluate Mary Lou Jancito's condition as well as provide immediate medical attention to her when she was showing symptoms of sepsis.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount sufficient to satisfy the jurisdictional requirements of this court and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Jeffrey Schlapp of Schlapp Lap Group, L.L.C. in Chicago.
