CHICAGO — A woman is suing Rush Oak Park Hospital Inc., alleging negligence in her care.
Marilyn Cardelli filed a complaint on July 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against Rush Oak Park Hospital Inc., alleging that the hospital failed to provide her with proper care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in March, she fell while a patient at the hospital, suffering two pelvic fractures. The plaintiff holds Rush Oak Park Hospital Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly assess her risk of falling and failed to provide adequate supervision to her at all times.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by David A. Howard of The Howard Law Firm LLC in Chicago.
