CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased woman's estate is suing Alden of Waterford LLC, Alden Management Services Inc. and Floyd Schlossberg in a wrongful death case alleging negligence in nursing home care.

Terrance Kardatzke, administrator of the estate of Lorraine Kardatzke, filed a complaint on July 20 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Lorraine Kardatzke.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2014, Lorraine Kardatzke experience pain from several medical conditions including pneumonia and skin breakdown. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to recognize the signs and symptoms of pneumonia and generally neglected their duties to take care of Lorraine Kardatzke while she was being treated in their facility.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount sufficient to satisfy the jurisdictional requirements of the court. He is represented by Michael Silverman of Horwitz, Horwitz and Associates, Ltd. in Chicago.
