CHICAGO — A representative of a resident in a long-term care facility is suing The Grove of Lagrange Park LLC, d/b/a The Grove of Lagrange Park, and Lagrange Skilled Nursing Facility LLC, d/b/a The Grove of Lagrange Park Living & Rehab, alleging negligence.
Jovan Kukic, as attorney in fact for Nada Kukic, filed a complaint on July 23 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Nada Kukic.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Nada Kukic experienced pain from developing pressure sores. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to Nada Kukic to prevent her from developing any pressure ulcers while being treated at their facility.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black and Mark K. Volk of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
