CHICAGO — A woman is suing Lexington Health Care Center of Orland Park Inc., alleging the nursing home was negligent in her care.
Betty Purches filed a complaint on Aug. 4 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendant, alleging she fell and also developed pressure sores while in the care of the nursing home. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide her with adequate supervision.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000, plus court costs. She is represented by Margaret P. Battersby Black and Mary K. Volk of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
