CHICAGO — A man is suing Nick & Howard, L.L.C., d/b/a The Underground Chicago, a bar, citing alleged liability and negligence in connection with the actions of its bouncers.

William Stratton filed a complaint on Aug. 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendant, alleging that he suffered unjustified damages when the establishment's bouncers forcefully removed him from the premises.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 18, 2015, he suffered physical injuries that required the payment of large medical bills. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendant's employee allegedly tackled the plaintiff and caused the injuries.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $50,000. He is represented by Gay Delson Geleerd, Jr.
