CHICAGO — A patient is suing a radiologist and clinic, alleging negligence in medical care.
Luke Williams filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against Surekha P. Jani, M.D., and Des Plaines Radiologists, S.C., alleging that the radiologist failed to properly evaluate his condition.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2012, he suffered damages as a result of negligence. The plaintiff holds Surekha P. Jani, M.D., and Des Plaines Radiologists, S.C., responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly interpret the results of the plaintiff's MRI and the presence of a large mass on his left kidney.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than the minimum requirement of the court. He is represented by Susan J. Schwartz of Corboy & Demetrio, P.C. in Chicago.
