CHICAGO — A woman's lawsuit against several healthcare providers alleges they botched her spinal surgery.

Alyssa Madsen filed a complaint on Sept. 23 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, John Grayhack, M.D., Robert Wetzel, M.D., John Broadnax, M.D. Advocate Health Care Network, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Advocate Medical Group, Steven Mardjetko, M.D., Robert Egel, M.D., John Ruge, M.D., Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC, and Jerry Bauer M.D., S.C., d/b/a Center of Brain and Spine Surgery, S.C., alleging that they failed to provide her with proper medical care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she underwent spine surgeries and sustained physical injuries that required additional medical treatment.
