CHICAGO — A woman is suing Zone Fitness Inc. and PF Chicago Holdings LLC., alleging they should be held responsible after she tripped and fell on a sidewalk at their property.
Nancy Edelman filed a complaint on Sept. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to properly maintain the sidewalk of their property.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in April, she sustained physical injuries when she tripped and fell on a defective portion of a sidewalk. The plaintiff holds Zone Fitness Inc. and PF Chicago Holdings LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly allowed the hazardous condition and failed to provide adequate warning.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Susan E. Loggans & Associates, P.C. in Chicago.
