CHICAGO — An employee is suing Ardagh Group, citing alleged discrimination and retaliation.
Juan Cervantes filed a complaint on Oct. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court against Ardagh Group, alleging that the employer failed to take steps to avoid discriminating against the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he has experienced discrimination during his employment, and he holds Ardagh Group responsible because the defendant allegedly made false accusations against him in retaliation for his complaints of discrimination.
The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages, back pay, interest, lost benefits, punitive damages, restitution and disgorgement, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by David Rubenstein of Rubenstein Business Law in Chicago.
