CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased man's estate is suing Kreider Services Inc.; Glenwood Healthcare & Rehab Inc.; Certified Health Management Inc.; and two nurses in a wrongful death claim alleging negligence in nursing home care.

Gloria Sanders, as independent administrator of the estate of John Perkins, filed a complaint on Oct. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Perkins.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Perkins sustained permanent physical injuries from multiple fall that contributed to his death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision at all times to Perkins in order to address his risk of falling and to identify other potentially harmful medical conditions in a timely manner.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that would adequately compensate her. She is represented by Paul D. Richter and Caitlin K. Finnegan of Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz in Chicago.
