CHICAGO — A mother is suing Alden Village Health Facility for Children and Young Adults Inc.; Alden Management Services Inc., f/k/a The Alden Group Ltd.; and related professionals, alleging negligence in nursing home care.
Suba Musa filed a complaint on Oct. 27 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to her daughter.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges her daughter suffered from the development of pressure sores. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision at all times to her daughter in order to prevent her from developing pressure sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Cari F. Silverman and Pamela Dimo of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
