Individual alleges Germania Place did not provide all services for wedding reception

Contract 10

CHICAGO – A Hoffman Estates resident alleges a catering service did not provided the services agreed to for a wedding reception.

Saroj Patel, of Hoffman Estates, filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Germania Place Inc., doing business as Kenmare Catering and Events, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2015, the plaintiff entered into a contract with the defendant for a wedding reception for more than 300 guests and paid $71,025.

The plaintiff holds Germania Place Inc. responsible because the temperature inside the defendant's venue allegedly reached higher than 90 degrees during the reception, the defendant only provided one restroom, did not provide champagne and food as agreed upon, and other issues.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $71,025 plus incidental and consequential damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Harry C. Bradley of H.C. Bradley LLC in Warrenville.
