CHICAGO — A patient is suing Advocate Trinity Health Partners, and associated entities, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.
Glenda Johnson filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide her with proper medical care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2014, she suffered from hypoxia at Advocate Trinity Hospital. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to properly diagnose her symptoms and to provide necessary treatment including timely ventilation to prevent her condition from getting worse.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Scott B. Wolfman of Law Offices of Scott B. Wolfman & Associates, P.C. in Chicago.
